Noncredit Online Classes

Acquire valuable new skills from the comfort and convenience of your home or office with expert instructors guiding the way! Through a partnership with Education to Go, the college offers more than 200 instructor-facilitated noncredit courses online. New sections of each class start as often as every month. Professional Licensure and CEUs

Earn the Continuing Education Units (CEUs) you need to keep your professional license active. HCC offers continuing education classes each month for many professionals including nurses, plumbers, and HVAC technicians. Workforce Training Class Schedule

To remain competitive in today's workplace, you must keep your skills sharp and look for ways to improve your knowledge every day. HCC offers a variety of career or job-related short courses to help you keep in step. These noncredit courses are open to everyone in our community. You do not need to have a degree or be enrolled in college to attend. Classes vary in length from one day to six weeks with registration fees starting at $29. Youth Workforce Connections

The Youth Workforce Connections (YWC) program, funded by the West Kentucky Workforce Board, offers GED assistance, career guidance and training, academic counseling, and employment services to area youth between the ages of 18 and 24 who are economically disadvantaged and face barriers to appropriate employment. The YWC also facilitates training programs to prepare participants for skilled jobs available in the region. Work experience and paid internship programs are available to assist youth in obtaining high-paying, skilled positions in many careers. The program pays participants the prevailing wage for their position during the training period, providing the employer with an opportunity to assess the skills and abilities of the participant before putting him or her on the payroll. Throughout the process, these youth are closely monitored, with the YWC office staff serving as a resource for both the youth and the employer. These services are available free of charge. Interested youth and area businesses are encouraged to contact our staff to learn more about how they can benefit from the program.
