You have come to the right place! Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) Acacdemic Foundations/Adult Education programs are consitently ranked among the top programs in the state. 

Academic Foundations provides services in Christian County at the college as well as the Oak Grove Community Center and on post at Fort Cambell. We also have an office in Caldwell County, two locations in Todd County and an office in Trigg County to serve those residents as well.

Are you ready to get started?

The first step is to call us at 270) 707-3925 For Christian or Todd Counties,  (270)365-2322 in Caldwell County or (270)522-2212 in Trigg County to sign up for orientation. Let the person you reach know the specific location for which you are interested. During orientation, you will learn about the GED,  the Adult Education program  and what your next step will be. There are no costs for our GED classes. 

How long will it take me to get my GED?

Classes are based on your skill level. The length of time it takes you depends on where you start, how hard you are willing to work, as well as your attendance. The majority of people finish within 1 to 3 months.

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m
  • Monday: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Caldwell County Campus, 400 Violet Loop, Princeton KY

  • Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m

Todd County Campus, 804 South Main Street, Elkton, KY

  • Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m

Trigg County Campus,  219 Main Street, Cadiz, KY 

  • Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m
