ACT Test
The ACT is a national test offered at Hopkinsville Community College on specific dates in September, October, December, February, April, and June. The test covers English, reading, math, and science with an optional writing component. Calculators are allowed on the math component. The ACT test assess general educational development and the ability to complete college-level work.
- The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science
- The Writing Test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.
Registration is online and the student will receive a ticket to use for admission to the ACT test on exam day. A photo ID or other acceptable form of identification is also required. Visit the ACT website for a list of acceptable forms of identification.
