Associate in Science Transfer Options

Math Transfer Option

The mathematics transfer program (mtp) is designed to allow students to complete freshman and sophomore level transfer mathematics courses prior to transitioning to a four-year school while earning an associate in science degree from HCC. The following outline is a suggested course of study to complete the degree requirements within two years. This curriculum assumes students enter with ACTE English, Reading, and Mathematics sub-scores of at least 18, 20, and 22, respectively. Students with lower sub-scores should replace elective hours in this curriculum with prerequisite college-level coursework. Students entering with a mathematics subscore of 27 or higher may replace MAT 150 and MAT 155 in this curriculum with elective courses.
