FOUR CANDIDATES NAMED IN PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH FOR HCC
Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) President Michael B. McCall announced today the names of four candidates to be interviewed for the position of President/CEO at Hopkinsville Community College (HCC).
The finalists are:
- Jay S. Allen, Ph.D., Vice-President, Perkinston Campus/George County Center, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College
- Joyce C. Ester, Ph.D., Education Consultant/Former President, Kennedy-King College, City Colleges of Chicago
- Christopher C. Ezell, Ph.D., Vice President of Academic and Student Services, Danville Community College; Danville, Virginia
- Juston C. Pate, Ph.D., Chief Academic Officer, Maysville Community and Technical College; Maysville, Kentucky
The candidates are scheduled for on-campus visits and interviews November 12-14. During
those visits candidates will meet with HCC faculty, staff, students, the HCC Board
of Directors and local leaders. The general public will also have an opportunity to
meet the candidates at designated community forums. A detailed schedule will be announced
once itineraries are confirmed.
The new president of HCC will begin his/her appointment January 1, 2014.
