Department of Veterans Affairs Explains VA Benefits Have Been Delayed Due to Weather

HCC has recently been made aware that some students may be experiencing delays in receiving their VA education benefits. Students may have received letters from the Department of Veterans Affairs informingthem of this delay. As stated in theVA letters received on February 8, the VA anticipates being back on schedule within a week to ten days although additional days may be needed.

HCC issimply sharing this information withour military studentsas a courtesy and to help keepeveryone informed of the situation. At this time, there is no action that needs to be taken on the part of students.
