Facilities Maintenance and Safety

Personal Protection Equipment

All students, employees, and visitors are required to wear a face covering upon entrance into campus buildings and when in common areas. PPE is available in each building.

Gloves are not required; however, employees whose job duties include touching items often touched by others (credit cards, cash, paper) should wear gloves that are regularly replaced.

All students and employees should wash hands frequently and/or use hand sanitizer after each equipment use. Reminders are posted in various locations throughout campus.

Disinfecting and Cleaning

Facilities will be sanitized regularly and frequently touched surfaces daily. Cleaning supplies and disinfectant will be provided for employees to clean shared areas/equipment before and after usage. Work spaces should be cleaned after each interaction and prior to leaving for the day. M&O will monitor and clean high traffic areas. Bathrooms will be cleaned twice daily and disinfected daily. Usage of appliances in kitchens and breakrooms will be allowed. Game room and fitness center will be closed. Water fountains will be covered. Bottle filler stations are accessible for use.

Social Distancing Reminders

Signage is installed in comman areas and entrances. Floor markings will be installed in higher traffic areas.

Physical Barriers

Plexiglass shields are installed at public counters and forward facing desks. Face shields are also available to employees.

Occupancy

The number of occupants in classrooms and meeting spaces will be limited based on room capacity.
