Healthy Campus Requirements
HCC campuses are currently open. HCC employees, students and visitors must follow the below when visiting campus.

• Wear a facemask (mandatory).
• Stay home if you are sick.
• Practice 6’ social distancing. Floor decals will be installed in common areas where lines may form to help us remember.
• Wash your hands frequently.
• Use hand sanitizer before and after in multi-use areas.
• Each building will have a sanitization station with gloves and hand sanitizer.
• Employees should use sanitizer before and after using common areas, break rooms, vending machines, copy machines, and water fountains.
• One person may ride in an elevator at a time.
• Employees and vendors working in Fort Campbell must submit the DD Form 3150 to the Fort Campbell Campus Director.

Courses

HCC administrators are planning for courses to be offered in all three formats: online, hybrid and traditional in-person campus classroom. Course offerings are subject to change with the pandemic status.

Barnes & Noble Bookstore
HCC’s Barnes & Noble bookstore will continue to operate on campus and through virtual, online service. Questions regarding order status, book rental return and general information can be emailed.

Healthy at Work Officer

Questions surrounding Healthy at Work requirements should be directed to HCC's Healthy at Work Officer.

HCC will continue to follow the requirements set forth by the Governor’s Office and guidelines from the CDC and Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) as the College strives to help keep students, employees, and visitors safe during the pandemic

Special Circumstances
For those students enrolled in courses that require labs, clinical visits, or practicums, you will be contacted by your instructors with details explaining courses.

About COVID-19

The Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is a new form of the coronavirus family that originated in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China in December and has spread throughout the world.  Multiple variants have been discovered causing mild to severe health conditions.  HCC is monitoring the situation and will continue to update this page and take appropriate measures to ensure the health and well-being of all students, faculty, and staff.  The following is a list of key resources to keep you informed about the Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).

State of Kentucky COVID-19 Website and Hotline

The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services has prepared resources on when to seek care, how to prevent becoming ill, who is most at risk, and up-to-date status of the COVID-19 situation in the state. A hotline for questions regarding the virus in the state is available at 800-722-5725. 

Kentucky Department of Public Health

The Kentucky Department for Public Health continues to closely monitor the international situation concerning the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This respiratory disease was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China on December 31, 2019. Since that time, it has spread throughout China and to many other countries. Public health officials in Kentucky are monitoring the status of COVID-19 and will be providing regular updates.
