Higher Education Begins Here

Hopkinsville Community College is an excellent place for you to prepare for transfer to a university, complete a certificate, or degree leading directly to a career. Our faculty and staff are here to assist you in meeting your learning objectives as you progress on your educational journey. Here is a list of our programs of study.

Associate Degrees

With a completed two-year associate in arts or associate in science degree from HCC, you can transfer to any four-year college for your bachelor's degree. Or you can complete your associate in applied science degree and move immediately into the workforce or look at 2 + 2 admission agreements into career degrees at universities.

Diplomas and Certificates

Improve your skills while on the job or take classes toward a new career. Save time and receive targeted career training through our shorter diploma and certificate programs. Non-credit short term training is offered through Workforce Solutions.

Academic Foundations

Some students are not quite prepared for college-level work. For those students, HCC offers Academic Foundations classes in reading, math and English. Although these courses are treated like credit classes, they do not affect your final college grade point average. Students without a GED or high school diploma should visit Adult Education.
