Testing

Hopkinsville Community College staff administers the following assessments, exams, and tests:

COMPASS, Choices
CLEP, DSST, Computer Literacy IC³, PAX, Microsoft Office Specialist 2010 (MOS) and Proctored exams
GED and TABE tests

The Testing Center provides assessment and testing services for students and community members of Hopkinsville and surrounding areas. Services and resources provided include the COMPASS placement assessment, proctored exams for distance learning, IC³ Computer Literacy Exam, CLEP, DSST, and MOS exams. The staff of the Testing Center also serves as the point of contact for the ACT Test information. All assessments, exams, and tests are administered by appointment.

Hopkinsville Campus

Test Schedule
COMPASS appointment times:
Tuesday (8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m.) and Thursday (2:30 p.m., 4 p.m.) [call for appointment]

CLEP, IC³ Computer Literacy, and Proctored exams:
Monday (8:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m.) and Wednesday (8:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m.) [call for appointment]

Fort Campbell Campus

Location: English Army Education Center, Fort Campbell, KY, Room 1218

Test Schedule
COMPASS walk-in sessions:
Tuesday (8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:30pm) and Thursday (8:30 a.m, 10:30am, 1:30pm)
Walk-in sessions are at these times only

CLEP and DSST exams appointment times:
Monday (8:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m.) and Wednesday (8:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m.) [call for appointment]

Proctored Exam appointment times:
Monday, Wednesday (8:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m.), and Friday (8:30 a.m.) [call for appointment]
